The Wedding Plans...

Easy as Pie! Seriously, we are already almost done with ALL of the wedding plans... and we still have 2 months to go! We are so excited to be married on Friday, August 5, 2011 in the Atlanta, Georgia LDS Temple, we will be married in the morning with a group of close family and friends and then will celebrate with a reception at the Atlanta National Golf Club in Milton, GA. We are so excited!!

The story of how we got ENGAGED!!

By far, one of the BEST days of our lives... at least mine :-)

On one of our first dates we went ice skating at Centennial Park, while we were there I mentioned to Morgan that I had never been to the Atlanta Aquarium. That was always on our lists of things to do together. So, on March 22, when he suggested we go to the Aquarium I wasn't expecting anything! We had so much fun at the Aquarium and afterwards Morgan said he was hungry, I didn't understand why he was walking so slow or why he INSISTED on only getting something to eat at the CNN center, but we went. He was walking so slow around Centennial Park, I just didn't get it.... UNTIL, we got to this one beautiful part of the park where there was a little waterfall and a beautiful secluded place... I said, out loud, "Why are there candles at Centennial Park? That doesn't seem safe." HAHAHA.... and then, I got it. He was laughing the whole time as he led me through the beautiful rose pedals on the ground, the candles lighting the way to a big rock in the center where there was a bouquet of flowers and a ring box, it was so sweet. He got on a knee and of course, I said yes! It was all so unreal, and Morgan's brother, Dereck and sister, Julia, had helped him setting it all up and took pictures of the whole thing! It was absolutely perfect!!

The story of how we REALLY met...

After 2 years of early morning seminary at Milton HS, we still didn't really know each other. I, Nicole, was transfered to Chattahoochee HS for my last 2 years, we grew up in the same stake and would see each other occasionally. Morgan served a mission in Cordoba, Argentina for 2 years while Nicole was studying at BYU in Provo, Morgan then went to school in SLC, Utah and Nicole served a mission in NYC for 18 months. Morgan moved back to Atlanta, GA in 2009 and Nicole moved back in 2010. We both went to the singles ward in the area and our old seminary teacher, Sister Menden, suggested that we each attend institute that week. Morgan and I joked around and talked at institute that week and he asked me out for that Saturday night. However we ended up spending Thursday and Friday and Saturday.... and every day after that! Dating was so easy, we just loved being together!
